Our goal is to serve the needs of our community by specializing in services that are essential to it’s success. From educating our youth to serving the under privileged, Alshabbir offers an array of services to cater to all segments of our community.

Who is giving donations?

  1. As in previous years, the majority of that giving came from individuals. Specifically, individuals gave donation, accounting for 70% of all giving and representing a 3.0% increase.
  2. Giving by bequest increased by 2.3% to 6.4%.
  3. Foundations – which includes grants made by independent, community, and operating foundations give donation. This represents a 6% increase.
  4. Corporations grew by 8% to 14% .

Where do the donations go?

  1. Giving to Education charities was up 6.2% (14% of all donations).
  2. Donations to Human Services charities were up 5.1%(12% of all donations).
  3. Foundations saw an increase of 6%(11% of all donations).
  4. Health charities experienced an increase of 15.5%(9% of all donations).
  5. Public-Society Benefit charities saw an increase of 7.8%(7% of all donations).
  6. Arts, Culture and Humanities saw an increase of 8.7%(5% of all donations).
